Each year at Evolve, we like to look at our plan for the coming year and how we can help and get involved with charities and fundraising. Alongside any charity contributions, we have decided to do something a little bit different.
Over the coming year, we are going to start working with Lendwithcare are and investing in entrepreneurs from low income countries and we are going to take you on the journey with us!
Lendwithcare is a revolutionary way to help people in low income countries work their way out of poverty with dignity. They bring together entrepreneurs with the people that have the power to help them.
A brief outline of how it works;
- Firstly, the entrepreneurs need a hand to get started with their ideas.
- They then request a loan from Lendwithcare. If their plans to invest in their business show promise, their loan is approved and they get the go ahead.
- Their profile is then added to the website and then the loans can get started.
- Once they are fully funded, the entrepreneurs get to work on starting or growing their small business. Lendwithcare try to keep all the profiles updated so we can see how the business is progressing.
- Entrepreneurs pay back their loans in instalments.
- We then decide what to do with the repayments – withdraw it or reinvest to help other entrepreneurs with their small businesses!
