Joselito
Joselito, a 63-year-old family manfrom the Phillipines. He is married with three grown children, all happily settled in their own marriages. Sadly his wife is disabled, and Joselito has taken on the responsibility of caring for her. Despite the challenges, he remains dedicated to his role as a fishmonger at the local market, a profession he has passionately pursued for the past 30 years.
For the last two years, Joselito has been an active member of FCCT, Lendwithcare's local partner in the Philippines. During this time, he has not only received and promptly repaid several loans but has also used these financial resources to enhance his business. One notable improvement includes the repair of his multi-cab unit, vital for the hauling and delivery of meat. Additionally, he diligently contributes to a savings account, setting aside modest amounts for potential family emergencies.
Joselito's work ethic is commendable, with his market stall open from 5am to 6pm every day of the week. Despite the demanding schedule, he and his children find time to care for his wife.
Joselito's ultimate goal is to sustain the support necessary for his family's needs, showcasing resilience and determination in the face of personal and professional challenges. To this end, he requested a loan to bulk buy fish and seafood from the local fisherman to sell in his market stall.
