Rodelo is from the Philippines.
He requested a loan of £541.13 so he can acquire new bales of shoes, sandals, and slippers to sell in his second hand shoe store.
Rodelo and his wife have six children who are all at school. He works hard to support his family by running a second-hand footwear business. The family live in Cebu province.
Rodelo pays monthly rent for his stall in the new market building, which he opens every day from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. Besides catering for walk-in customers, he also sells his shoes through a Facebook page. He manages the day-to-day operations by himself and doesn't employ any workers, and his daily sales vary between 800 to 5,000 pesos. Rodelo buys his shoes by the bale and each bale costs between 3,700 to 18,000 pesos.
Rodelo’s loan is now fully funded and his repayments to all his investors will begin this month.
