With everything happening around us at the moment, it can be so easy to feel powerless and that you have no control - but there are parts of our lives which we can control.

What can you control to help with your mental health? Below are some tips on how to manage your mental wellbeing:

  • Discuss your emotions -Discussing your emotions allows you to remain in good mental health and manage times when your feeling down. Talking can be a major way to work through problems you have been dealing with emotionally.
  • Keep yourself active -Aerobic exericses such as jogging, swimming, cycling, walking or dancing have been proved to reduce anxiety and depression.
  • Set some goals - Set small, realistic goals. These could include things which you want to accomplish professionally, or personally. Make sure they are sensible, so when you reach these you will appreciate the feeling of achievement and self esteem.

If there are ever times you are finding things difficult and need to reach out, there are many different charities you can call in your time of need.
