Fostering with a young child has been fine; if not easier that having one child.
In our short time as foster carers we have found that looking after other children for even for a few hours has helped our son to share, be more independent and play more as a group.
We feel that he benefits from having other children in our home, although when it comes to nap times etc., we have struggled to get him to stick to the routine as he is distracted and doesn’t want to miss out whereas on the other hand it has improved his diner time as he copies the older children and eats more.
